Oral Surgery

What is oral surgery?

Defintion ~

A procedure to remove or repair a part of the body

Our "in house" masters trained Oral Suregon, Dr Maz Att, is capable of performing the most complex oral surgeries in the oral cavity. From tricky extractions to removal of soft tissue, you will be in safe hands. All procedures are available also under conscious sedation. This will involve an IV being placed in your arm and being safely medicated throughout the procedure.

Most common procedures performed are :

Extractionsa dental procedure in which a tooth is removed from its socket in the jawbone. It may be performed for various reasons, including severe tooth decay, advanced periodontal disease, overcrowding, trauma, or as part of orthodontic treatment.

Frenectomy - sometimes called a frenulectomy, is an oral surgery procedure that treats lip-tie or tongue-tie. During the procedure, your surgeon cuts or modifies a frenum (also called frenulum), a band of connective tissue that joins two areas.

As he is a Hospital grade oral surgeon, Maz is also capable of taking biopsies for investigation for any suspicious growths.
