Composite bonding
What is Composite Bonding
Definiton ~
A composite resin is attached to a tooth and shaped to restore its original appearance
Composite bonding is a minimally invasive dental procedure that involves the application of a tooth-colored composite resin material to enhance the appearance and functionality of teeth. It is primarily used for cosmetic purposes, such as repairing chipped, cracked, or discolored teeth, closing small gaps between teeth, and reshaping teeth for a more harmonious smile. During the procedure, the dentist carefully applies and sculpts the composite resin onto the affected tooth, bonding it securely in place using a special curing light. The material is then shaped, polished, and blended seamlessly with the surrounding natural teeth, resulting in a natural and aesthetically pleasing outcome. Composite bonding offers a relatively quick and cost-effective solution for improving the appearance of teeth, often requiring minimal tooth preparation and providing immediate results.
How Much Does it cost?
Composite bonding is tailored to each individuals needs, and the price may vary as such.
